POSITION – ACCOUNT MANAGER, INTERACTIVE SERVICES

Duties and Responsibilities
As Account Manager, you will work with the Account Director and be responsible for developing and managing the relationship with 8RewardsRoad’s key clients, a large number of them multinationals in the financial services industry.
In this role, you will interact with clients on a day to day basis and translate their briefs into strategic communication plans to ensure their business targets and marketing objectives are met. Under this remit, you will be instrumental in conceiving big ideas for marketing campaigns as well as undertake a business development role to sell-in campaigns and new media applications to promote the client’s business.
In addition, you will also work in tandem with the Art Director / Creative Group Head to supervise the creative output of the work of a team of up to 10 full-time designers, animators and illustrators to ensure work is delivered to the client’s exacting standards.
You will also be expected to liaise and work with a team of programmers on the back-end delivery of design concepts into actual customer interfaces to ensure they are usable and functional to our clients’ customers.
You will provide supervision on the final delivery of all client projects including monitoring and keeping track of timelines and budgets.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Strategic account management of assigned clients from the 8RR portfolio
• Day to day liaison with clients to manage briefs, brainstorm ideas, advise client on best practices, tracking success of campaigns, putting forth recommendations etc
• Supervise design development of all creative concepts including websites; e-commerce shopping catalogs; e-newsletters; banners; Flash microsites among others
• Liaise and work with IT development team in formalising business requirements, delivery and testing of clients web assets/applications
• Preparing work in progress reports including tracking budgets and timelines for all projects
• Assist in key account servicing with existing clients and prospect clients for generating new business
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience in an advertising / interactive agency / marketing consultancy servicing multinationl clients preferred but not mandatory
- Bachelor's degree, any discipline
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Keenly aware and a participant in all new media platforms
